Camera and cube processing
We request camera access only when you press Start camera. Images are processed inside your browser; we do not upload, receive or store them. The camera stops when you stop it, finish scanning, leave the tab or start solving. Cube colors and move sequences stay in this tab’s memory and are cleared on reload. No account is required.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, language, device/browser information and broad actions such as starting a scan, requesting a solution and reaching the final solution step. Events can include the input method (camera, manual or demo) and number of moves. We never include camera frames, cube colors, move sequences, names or email addresses in analytics events.
Google receives technical connection data when your browser contacts its service. Page URLs sent by our integration omit query strings and fragments, and referrers are limited to their origin. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. We do not load Google Analytics or send analytics requests before you consent. Declining does not limit the solver.
Cookies and your choice
The essential local-storage entry cubeturns.analytics.v1 remembers your choice for up to 180 days. If you consent, Google may set _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits, with an expiration of up to 180 days from their latest update. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice. Declining after consent removes our Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the analytics script. Previously collected data is not automatically erased by withdrawal.
Use browser settings to clear site storage. If storage is blocked, the solver still works, but your choice may need to be made again. For an access or deletion request, contact us without sending sensitive images or cube data; we will explain what can be identified and handled.
Advertising
CubeTurns is being prepared for Google AdSense. This version publishes ownership-verification metadata and an ads.txt declaration; it does not load ad-serving scripts or display ads. Analytics consent is not advertising consent. Before ads are enabled, we will update this notice and configure the appropriate advertising consent controls, including a Google-certified consent platform for relevant regions. Website delivery
Vercel hosts the website and receives the IP address, requested URL and browser headers needed to deliver it. It may maintain operational and security logs. These requests do not contain camera images or cube state. Google and Vercel may process information outside your country under their respective policies.
Your controls
Manual input works without camera access. Camera permission can be revoked in browser settings. Optional analytics can be declined or withdrawn independently. For service or privacy questions, visit Contact.
